Please help Me!!!!  Duplicate devices in auto-play
I have a laptop. (windows 7 64 bit) I have been unsuccesfully trying to install a Kodak 5100 AiO printer. I've spoken with Kodak and I'm going to call them back when I have 4 or 5 hours to kill. While on the phone with Kodak, I was instructed to remove the printer and then Add the printer 7 or 8 times. Nothing worked to get the printer printing. But that's another problem. I've uninstalled the printer and removed everything Kodak related, but now I have 8 "Easyshare Aio" devices listed in my "auto-Play" feature found in my control panel. How do I get rid of all those devices listed??? One suggestion I got was to use "cleanhandlers" but I'm not sure if that will work with windows 7. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. TIA

You can try deleting themfrom your registry:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\AutoplayHandlers\EventHandlersHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\AutoplayHandlers\HandlersSeasons greetings!

I agree with DEFCON 1,you can remove the unwished handlersfrom the registry, Please make a backup before modifying them, you can save them asbackup.reg. In that case wecan simply restore the registry by double-clicking the backup.reg file. The Autoplay handlers are present in the following locations:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\AutoplayHandlers\Handlers\ <handler>Sincerely! What do I delete?? When I navigate to those folders in the registry (handlers and eventhandlers) there are about 35 more folders inside, none of which contain anything with "Easyshare AiO" or with kodak.

Right clickon HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\AutoplayHandlers\Handlersand drop down to "Find". Paste "Easyshare AiO" to the search box. Just to be sure right click AutoplayHandlers.Seasons greetings!
